On Saturday night, I went to see Robyn Hitchcock and The Venus 3 at the Barby Club in Tel Aviv. This is Hitchcock’s latest project, formed with Peter Buck of REM, famous for creating the latter’s trademark jangly pop sound. It was a fantastic show and so on this Brainwaves, I played a lot of both The Venus 3 and REM.
